He nipped her back, and began searching the horizon. Ah, trees in the distance. It was the way to the beach line terras, so maybe some coconuts or figs. He set off towards them, nickering for her to come.

[red]She took off galloping beside him, she bucked playfully. Despite her darkness she was merely a filly- well a very young mare and she still loved to play.[/red]

He began galloping. The trees came closer into view as the hot sands sprayed around them. He skid to a stop as they entered the shade of the clump of trees. There were 5 all together with a central pool. One cocnut tree. The others were figs. He grunted.
Eat the figs now. We will take some cocnuts back to the cave.
His lyrics were carried away by the ocean breeze as he stepped forward. He reared up and landed against the tree. Slamming some figs to the ground. He turned and came to the ground. He ate a few and gave a quiet nicker to tell her to eat.

[red] She lipped a few gingerly. She viewed the area around them, much different from the terra... she thought, "Tell me about your history.'' she whispered.
There was so much to find out and she wanted to know it all.[/red]

He swallowed the fig he was eating. Purple juice made small pools in the sand. He flicked some sand into it. He thought back on his past. What should he tell her? Memories flitted through his mind. Just the basics. He thought. Lifting his mug he spoke.
Well I grew up on a volcanic island. It was a short swim from the mainland. It was hot and dry most of the time. An inch or so of rain each year. One day two brothers came and took the herd. They killed all colts. My mother told me run and not stop until I was far away. I was only a few months old, barely weaned. I swam and ran until I collapsed where I was picked up by a passing herd. There, I grew and eventually took that herd. I left though and went back to my old land. Unfortunatly everyone was gone. No trace of them. So I left and found myself here.
As he finished he picked up the last fig and ate it. He went over to the cocnut tree and shook down two bungdles. He picked one bundle up and began trotting back. He hoped she would get a hint and take the other.

[red] She sighed, "It seems to be cases like these in all the darqs..." she trailed off. Gingerly picking up the other bundle she cantered to catch up to him.[/red]

They cantered across the shifting sands and finally came to their mountain. He dropped the bundle and shook his crania, jaw locking from holding it. Soon he picked it up again again and bounded up the steps. He soon disapeered into the cave. Just then a strong wind picked up and blew the sand everywhere. He came to the entrance again.
Sandstorm! Get in here!
He screamed through the overpowering whistling of the wind. He disapeered again as the sand became nearly blindings.

[red] Jasmine darted foreward, She held her bundle carefully. She twisted around the winding path easily, and whisked into the cave.
The sand and wind bustled by, she was no longer a deep ebon color. Now she was palomino. The sand clung to her coat giving her a new color. [/red]

He chuckled as she came in and walked around the pool. The stones clacked beneath him. Sands blew outside the cave even at the height they were at. The wind was loud and overpowering to any words spoken. He walked to the back and plopped himself down.

[red] A sly smile crossed her mug, she shook fiercly and her own little sandstorm tumbled as the majority of the sand on her bodice came off. She walked over to the water and began to bathe.[/red]
